This popular trip in the Annapurna Region allows us to see the lives of different settlements. We pass mostly by the Gurungs villages climbing up the famous Poon Hill, 3210 m, passing by the rhododendron, bamboo & pine forests to reach at our destination – Annapurna Base Camp. We start early in the morning to reach the Annapurna Base camp as the cloud in the noon makes the trail hard to find. From here we can have the tremendous views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna that towers above the sanctuary to the north-west. This is one of the wonderful trip for the adventure lovers. We return back to Pokhara following the same way that we climbed up taking the shorter routes. The outlined itinerary goes as follows:
