SERVICE INCLUDES:

Accommodation at Hotels / Guest Houses as per Itinerary , 4500 Model Japanese Land cruiser ( 4 person in 1 Jeep) , Support Truck , 1 English Speaking Tibetan Guide , Highly experienced Trekking Staff comprising of 1 Nepali Team Leader , 1 Cook experienced in preparing Gujarati / South Indian / North Indian Food and Sherpa Staff , Camping Equipment comprising of Sleeping Tents with mattress & sleeping bag, Yaks & Yak-men for Porterage during Kailash Parikarma , All Permits , Tibet / China Visa Fee , Gamow Bag , Medical Oxygen and First aid-kit.

COST EXCLUDES:
Travel Insurance, Evacuation Cost, Extra cost in the event of landslide for hiring Porterage or additional transportation and Expenses of personal nature.

NOTE:
Clients should be in Kathmandu before two days of final departure of Kailash with at least 6 months valid passport, Tour confirmation should be made before one month of departure date.

Itinerary / Tour program 2008

Day 1

Kathmandu - Arrival - transfer to Kathmandu hotel, rest of the day is free.

Day 2

Kathmandu - After breakfast start to Kathmandu sightseeing including Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath and Budha Nikanth Darshan, back to   hotel. Rest of the day is free for shopping, packing and program briefing.

Day 3 Kathmandu to Nyalam (3700mt) - This is the first day of the Yatra. After breakfast depart from Kathmandu to China border by tourist coach. It takes about five hours. Our agent will complete customs formalities at Kodari (Nepal Border) Zangmu (China Border) and check into Tibet, an autonomous part of China. After lunch drive to a small Tibetan town - Nyalam by Land Cruiser. Over night stay at Nyalam Guest House.
Day 4 Nyalam Full day acclimatization - Full day free for excursion of Nyalam city.
Day 5

Nyalam to Saga (4500mt) - After breakfast drive from Nyalam to Saga for about eight hours, which is 220k.m distance. Overnight stay at Saga in Guest house or tent. Hereafter breakfast and dinner will be provided in camp area and packed lunch will be provided.

Day 6 Saga to Paryang (4450mt) - After breakfast proceed to Paryang for about seven hours, which is 195k.m distance. Over night in tent or Guesthouse.
Day 7

Paryang to Manasarovar (4500 mt) - After breakfast leave for Manasarovar to cover 225k.m, which takes about eight hours. This is the first day stay near Manasarovar Lake. Overnight stay in tent or Guesthouse.

Day 8 Drive to Chho-Kue Gompa - Manasarovar parikrama by Land Cruiser. We will choose a special point to take dip in Manasarovar Lake and to do pooja of Lord Shiva. Full day free for spiritual activities. Drive around three hours to Darchen. En route visit to Rakshsthala and overnight stay in Darchen in tent or guesthouse.
Day 9 Excursion around Darchen (4560mt) - After breakfast drive around Darchen for an hour, which is the base camp of Kailash Parvat. Full day free for acclimatization. Visit Serlung Gompa (5200mt) & Astapath, Nandi Parbat. Overnight stay in guesthouse or tent in Darchen. (Trek - 16k.m)
Day 10 Darchen to Diraphuk (4890mt) - This is the first day of Kailash Parikrama. We should start our journey after breakfast as early as possible. This day we have to walk continuously for six to seven hours. Yak will carry all goods & equipments. Overnight stay at Diraphuk in tent.  (Trek -16k.m)
Day 11

Diraphuk to Zuthulphuk (4790mt) - This day is very sensitive and we have to pass Dolma-La pass, which is 5400mt above sea level. The weather is unpredictable in Dolma-La pass and at any time snowstorm can fall. So we try to start our journey as early as possible. En route we can have darshan of Gaurikunda. But it is very difficult to go and touch. Overnight stay enroute to Zhuthulphuk in tent.   (Trek -22k.m) 

Day 12

Zhuthulphuk to Darchen - This is the day we finish our parikrama and go back to base camp in Darchen.  (Trek-16k.m) Overnight stay in tent - Mansarovar Lake side.

Day 13

Darchen to Paryang - Our return journey starts back to Kathmandu Following the same route and same system applies for all of our accommodation & meals.

Day 14

Paryang to Saga - Drive back to Saga.

Day 15

Saga to Nyalam-Drive back to Nyalam, which is the last day stay in Tibet part.

Day 16

Nyalam to Kathmandu - After customs formalities we will be picked up at Nepal border and continue drive to Kathmandu for about five hours in tourist coach and check into the same hotel.

Day 17

Departure to Airport - After breakfast / lunch departure for airport by tourist coach / taxi for your home destination.
