MORE LANGTANG
TREK ITINERARIES: |

This region is the central part of Nepal which covers
the Langtang Helambu trekking. This is the region north
of the Kathmandu city and all accessible without flights.
There are mainly three major trekking areas-Langtang,
Gosaikund and Helambu (we can view the Himalayan ranges
to the north and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks
to the south). The main attractions of this range are
Langtang Lirung (7246m), Gangchhenpo (6388m), Nayakangri
(5846m) and Dorje Lakpa (6966m). This area was designated
Nepal’s first Himalayan National park in 1975. The
famous jugal Himalayan ranges also lies in this region.
The ethnic people like Tamangs and Sherpa inhabiting in
this area. A visit to the Langtang valley offers an opportunity
to explore villages to climb small peak and to visit Glaciers
at low elevation. Here is the famous sacred place with
beautiful Lake Gosaikund (4300m). Many Hindu and Bouddish
pilgrims visit the Lake during a full-moon festival in
August.
The Langtang National Park is rich in Flora and Fauna
so it is good destination for Botanical research. The
wild flowers like Sky-blue gentions, Primulas, Epiphytic
Orchids, etc found in these areas. The birds like Buzzards,
Hoopoe, Cuckooz, Barbets, Owls, Nightjars, Laughing thrushes’
Red-billed and Yellow billed Megapics, Capped sibias,
Minivat parakeet are found on these areas. The major trekking

| This trek
is also start from Dhunche, trek to kyanjin gompa trek
up to Kyanjin gompa trek up to Ngegang (4000m)-Keldang
(4270m). The high pass Ganjala (5106m) is one the way.
Trek down to Dukpu (4080m), Tarkegyang (2560m) and back
to Kathmandu. This trail is hard due to the Gangala pass,
in the way we can have experiences of low land to high
land trekking. |

| The area is
close to Kathmandu which crosses the many ethnic villages.
Generally trek starts from Sundarijal proceed through
the Pati bhangyang (1770m). The way is full of rhododendron
and oaks; the place Chisopani (2300m) is in this area.
Khutumsang (2470m) downhill to Gul bhangyang – Tharepati
(3490m)-Tarkegyang-pati Bhangyang (1770m) then back to
Kathmandu. If we want more days, we can visit to Sermathang-Melumchi
and other villages. The route is full of rhododendron
and oaks. |
JUGAL

| This trek
starts from Kathmandu have to climb the forestry road
up to the high alpine lakes. This trial have not any good
hotels and restaurant so we have to organize all kitchen
crew for this trip. The trek starts from Chautra, the
eastern part from Kathmandu. We can view Dorje Lakpa (6966m),
Madiya (6257m) and Phurbi Chhyachu (6637m) in this trip.
The destination also have five lakes in highland. The
treks precede from Chatura-Syaula-Chyochyo Danda-Hile
Bhangyang-Nasempati (3800m)-Panch pokhari (4050m)-Gai
Kharka (2530m)-Yangri-Laghang Gompa-TarkeGyang to Kathmandu.
This is special Camping trek in this area having the
experience of jungle walking, village excursion and
beautiful views of mountains.
