 This tour of Mt. Everest Base camp & Lhasa will provide you sightseeing of Tashilumpo monastery in Shigatse, Khumbum Monastery in Gyantse ,At Lhasa we will have sightseeing and excursion of the Potala Palace (A great museum with its proportions and priceless treasures) Jokhang Temple (the holiest of Tibetan shrines, houses two images of the Buddha brought as dowry by Songtsen Gampo's Nepali and Chinese queens) along the bustling street of Barkhor Market. In Lhasa you will also visit Norbu Lingka (the summer palace of the Dalai Lamas), Drepung and Sera Monasteries. On The way we will drive to Rongbuk & visit North Face of Mt.Everest Base Camp. We can start this trip from Lhasa or from Kathmandu

LHASA SIGHTSEEING

LHASA - GYANTSE
Drive to Gyantse passing the Yamdrok Tsho (Turquoise Lake) and crossing the Karo La pass. O/N Hotel. |

GYANTSE - SHIGATSE - SHAKYA
Visit The Khumbhum Stupa & Phalkor Monastery. Drive via Shigatse across Tsou-la pass and Gyatso-la pass to Shakya Monastery. O/N Hotel. |

SHAKYA - RONGPHU MONASTERY
Drive over Pangla pass to Rongphu Monastery situated below the giant North Face of Mt. Everest Monastery. O/N Guesthouse. |

Mt. EVEREST BASE CAMP
Day hike to North Mount Everest Base Camp (8 kms each way).
Option to hire local horse drawn cart for the trip. O/N Guesthouse. |

RONGPHU - SHIGATSE

SHIGATSE - LHASA
