The main attractions of this Shalu to Nartang
Trek are Tsetang town, Samye valley, Samye
Monastery, Shalu Monastery ,commonly known
as Zhalu Monastery,the seat of Buton Rinpoche
, Ngor Monastery, Nartang Monastery, Shigatse
and Lhasa city, Camping and Trekking on Alpine
areas including natural sceneries.
Shalu Nartang trek starts from shigatse
or Gyantse, the famous cities in Tibet . We
will drive to Shalu Monastery and traverses
west over a couple of small ranges to Ngor
Monastery. The routes provide you experiences
of several villages having uninhabited dry
canyons. This trek cross two soft and dry passes
having a name Showa-la and Char-la.
